You might enjoy watching these four videos. None longer than 4+ minutes. We loved doing the scripts and visuals. Producers, director, talent all did fine work.

Getting Your Novel Started or "How Not to Stare at a Blank Page in Terror"

Do you have a great story idea, but the notion of writing a book intimidates you? Don't stare at Page One and think, "Oh, my god, I have an entire book to write." The first thing you have to do is write a killer first paragraph. The better it is, the more likely agents, then publishers, then readers are to keep going and pay money to do it.

After that, well, ask for it and we'll give you Step Two.

Self-Publishing Awards

For all of you who have struggled without success to find a literary agent, or just want to self-publish, check out the Writer's Digest list of awards for self-published work in a number of categories. Pretty interesting.

Using social networking to sell services

It seems when you have a product to sell, it's easier to define potential clients than with a service, particularly a service that can be defined as an "optional expense." A new book, for example, or a Web site makeover, or a television script or a business video to stream off a Web site. Can anyone talk about how you have succeeded in marketing an "optional expense" successfully, and through which social networks you have had the most success?
